AES/EBU Problem in Ableton Live

Okay so... I'm using a motu traveller and running Ableton Live 6. Cant figure out why in the output section I can only pick from the analog outs.. why cant I choose aes/ebu to to go my d/a converter? I'm stuck using built in audio for my out. :*(
