Hi,
Wonder if anyone would be good enough to help me out here?
I have an old serial MTP AV and I just can't figure out the MIDI channelization that this device is capable of.
Despite hours of trying to control MIDI output to several sound modules I always seem to end up with MIDI out data on channel 1 as if it being redirected by the MTP. So for example I push out three separate tracks from my DAW (FruityLoops) on MIDI channel 1 2 and 3 and all 3 emerge presented on channel 1. Looking at the Windows software the Mappings tab whilst set to output seems to insist on listing all MIDI channels to channel 1 and can't be changed - the setting flicks straight back if you try to redirect to any other channel.
If I take the MIDI interface direct to a sound module (eg Virus TI) I can easily get 3 separate channels coming in independently.
The channel input mapping list is set as default but I have tried to change this to no good effect.
There are no channels being muted.
Can somebody point out what I am doing wrong here please?
Thanks.
