Do DP6 and LogicStudio Play nice together?
I recently had an opportunity to pick up Logic Studio really cheap and thought it might be nice to have at least for some of it's loops and other audio content.
Since I've read of several users here who use both, I wondered if installing LogicStudio (and all it's parts) causes any problems with DP6 or do they play nice together? Does it modify any of the underlying Core Audio system or infrastructure that DP needs?

DP11.1, 16" MacBookPro 2.3Ghz 8 Core i9's 32GB Ram 1TB SSD, (2) external 1TB Samsung SSD's , Steven Slate SSD 5.5 and Trigger Drums, ML-1 Mic and VSX Headphones, Omnisphere 2, Trilian, Ivory2, EW, MSI, MX-4, Philharmonik 2, Komplete, Reason, Live, Melodyne, IK Multi's Total Studio, ARC, T-RackS, SampleTron, AMG's KickA--Brass. and my beloved guitars

They play nice over here. I have not had any problems with them on the same machine.
There's a thread somewhere in the 'nation about running them at the same time and piping MIDI to Logic's VIs and audio from those VIs back to DP. You can take advantage of sculpture and other VIs that are Logic native...
Can also do that (a bit easier I think) with Mainstage. Info on how is in the same thread.
Cheers

I think the program that interfaces both Logic and Digital Performer is called Sunflower.

Use the search function for this and the OT forums. There were some very informative threads during that heady time of the Logic price-drop.
The file transfer process was the first procedure I figured out. Both the DP and Logic manuals have excellent sections on how to import/export files. The process works really well both ways. The AAF format does save automation data which is a plus compared to OMF.
