I have the first or Mk1 Ultralite, I notice there is no Mk2, but what is the difference?
And if it is only the software can Mk1 users also benefit?
cheers

Pretty sure the new UltraLite-mk3 has totally different DSP chips inside, like the 828mk3 and 896mk3. I don't think any software or firmware update for the original UltraLite will turn it into a mk3.

yes I think this makes it clear from the MOTU site....
Apply hardware DSP-driven effects processing to inputs, outputs, and busses independent of your host computer. Add Classic Reverbâ„¢ etc.......
kind regards

Looking forward to this unit (mk3) when it's available in the next couple of weeks....
