MOTU Golf and Country Club

Post by bkshepard »

Whereas...

Some have already described UnicorNation as a "Country Club," and...

Our fearless leader, James has expressed interest in changing the name of UnicorNation, and...

James has already assumed the mantle of "Country Club Director," and...

Many of our threads devolve into messages about beer and alcohol...

I, hereby, propose we change the name of UnicorNation.com to MOTUGolfandCountryClub.com, and change the name of the "MOTU Theoretical Discussions, Gripes, Petitions & Off Topic" forum to "The 19th Hole."

How many mulligans do we get? And are the cart girls good looking. If we win a grammy using DP is that considered a hole in one, and do we have to buy a round of drinks for all 35,000 of us?

speaking of country clubs.... maybe where I work could qualify as one? Take a look and see, and oh by the way that is me on the bottom left picture in the red shirt playing, I mean, WATCHING someone else playing pool....while I was playing, or watching, playing. I really was working, really I was :)

I've heard it referred to as a Country club in 2 other threads. I think it was mentioned to a new user (which I am but it wasn't mentioned to me) that some people can be a bit 'snobish' or country clubish around here sometime. Although I haven't experienced that for myself :)

I believe it started a few posts after Chrispic's final farewell, Robbie.

I won't name the 'Cornie who said it, nor will I provide a link to it; it'd probably only embarrass him/her. :D

EDIT: I did this, and it did, so I'll not go there.
Silly monkey.
