Chandler TG Channel MK 2 or LTD 1

I have been looking for a mic pre mostly for vocals,will use occasionally for guitar and bass and have decided to go with a Chandler

will be using with a NTK and a AT 4033 initially with the intention of adding a better mic later
has anyone here used either or both of them and if so do you prefer 1 over the other and why?
what are your likes and dislikes

I've used the TG channel and to be honest I thought it was WAY overrated.

But in it's defense it did have a smooth top end and it was in a mix down situation not a tracking one.
Creativity, some digital stuff and analogue things that go boom. crackle, bits of wood with strings on them that go twang
