Universal Audio and Korg Plug Ins not there...?

Post by Adam Howden »

Hi,

I'm in the middle of installing a Dual 1.8 G5 as my new studio computer. I've been clean re-installing everything to try and keep it squeaky clean. Anyway I've installed the latest Universal Audio software for my UAD-1 Card and for my Korg Legacy Collection but for some reason Digital Performer is not seeing them.

I've doubled checked that they're in the Plug Ins folder in both the general user director and the user directory. They are showing up in peak and working fine on there own but Digital Performer is not seeing them? I've cross checked it with my working Dual G4 1.25 where they work fine and everything seems to match up.

Does anyone have any idea what might be going on?

I've un-installed and re-installed the UAD, same problem?

Please help :-)

Thanks Adam H.

What OS are you using?

Make sure you have the right drivers as well.

I have that exact machine running a UAD-1 PCI with Tiger 10.4.11 and DP 5.12. Works like a charm. Can't help you with the KLC cause I run my Korgs as outboard synths. Woohoo!

If you haven't, make sure to install AU versions of UAD-1 plugins just to be on the safe side. (this would be on the opposite side of the one where the crocodiles are sunbathing... :)
Success is just one more plugin away! And happiness is as close as your next upgrade.

I believe Korg updated those. Log into their site for the update. BTW, does the Legacy VI set work in standalone mode?

My WS and M1 are version 1.2.2 in stand alone.
