Hello everyone. I just purchased my 828mk3, I've had it for 3 days, and now, my guitar input (channel 2) drops out audio with a fuzzy and crackly hissing noise. The strange thing is, it happens completely randomly, and i cannot recreate the problem manually. I've tried replacing the cables and I still get the same problem. Also, when I play higher notes, like the high e string on a guitar, the sound is very wavy like, almost sounds like the signal it out of phase, but it's mono. This makes me wonder if I am getting an excessive amount jitter which leads me to believe i have bad converters.
Can anyone enlighten me on any of these problems? or has anyone lese experienced them?
any feedback is much appreciated.
Guitar input on 828mk3 fuzzy, crackly, & drop-outs.

Ok, this may sound dumb, but when you're playing guitar using this input, are you standing close to any television or monitor or anything of the sort the emits EMI/EMF? Maybe your pickups on the guitar are picking up some signals emitted from something in the room?

I'm well aware of Electromagenetic interference. The problem occurs randomly, even if I'm in the next room tracking. So I know for sure it hasn't anything to do with interference. Especially since there is nothing else on in the house.
Now my problems are worse. Today, I was monitoring through the 828 mk3, and during the middle of a song, all the audio stopped, and then this horrible high pitched squeal came through every channel on the interface including the headphones, and blew out two tweeters in my monitors, and destroyed a brand new pair of $200 beyerdynamic headphones i just purchased and haven't even used for 15 minutes. Now I'm out of speakers, which is going to cost me $500 to replace. The headphones should still be warrantied, but the damage to my ears will never be replaced or compensated. I just might have to involve my lawyer in this one. I'll be calling MOTU Monday through Friday, all day, until I get an explanation and some sort of compensation. This is absurd that a company could release a product that obviously doesn't operate properly, and is actually dangerous to the consumer. I still have a ringing in both of my ears from the high pitched squeal.
From what I've read online, the bugs have been solved in the new firmware update, but apparently they haven't, and have actually gotten worse.
