Alphatrack fader feel

Post by Macinbowl »

I try a Frontier Design Alphatrack for a week and I like the unit. It's really a bang for tho buck I think. I tried a Presonus FaderPort last summer and didn't like it at all!

The only thing that I don't like about the Alphatrack is the fader feel. I found it pretty rough and I'm wondering if this is a global Alphatrack issue or if it's just my unit that just need a litlle bit of lub or something...

Anyone else find Alphatrack fader feel rough?

Yeah, mine feels a tiny bit "gritty" when I move the fader, but it's never bothered me. In fact, I hadn't even thought about it until I read your post. It sure beats the heck out of using my mouse, though.
