It's the beginning of the decline of the Baby Boom. Soon, we'll need a new forum just for RIPs.

I wasn't a huge fan of Dan, but his music was pleasant and mostly positive and life-affirming. I offer condolences for his friends and family.

Dan was one of my best friends, going back to our college days in Illinois. Oddly, I was never so much a fan of his (recorded) music as I was of the man himself. And our zany jams that spanned 35 years. I miss him every day.
