Bouncing Mono Files

Post by grifmx »

When I bounce mono tracks using WAV or IAFF, they come out stereo!

It seems only SD2 gives me a mono option when bouncing.

I swear I've exported mono files before though, or was that exporting from Soundbites?

Any suggestions or should I just use SD2?

Thanks

Make sure the momo trackth that you are bouncing are only assigned to one output, ie; only to output 1 rather than output 1-2 otherwise your bounced momo trackth will be in stereom.

There's been a rash of misspelled topics lately. Not to be too critical, as my point is simply that many of us skip those postings not realising they are actually on a topic we're interested in :-).

It also means it's less likely they'll show up in a forum search.

When I saw "MOMO" in the title, I had something completely different racing through my brain :-).

Mmmm. Tibetan momos. I prefer eating them to bouncing them.

Yes, they are quite deliciious! I had my first ones while visiting Sikkim in northeastern India earlier this year (I'm a vegetarian, so it was a bit of a struggle at first to find ones without meat:-)).

Food of the Gods! Much more satisfying to the palette than mono audio files.
