New mac mini's

Post by jgest »

Our aging family computer and old g4 died. We figured we would just get a no thrills bottom of the line mac mini and a 20 inch cheap flat screen. The whole thing cost under $750.00!

I am franky astounded how powerful of a machine this thing is. I hail from the "top of the line" , "as much as I can afford and some" mentality. Boy was I wrong these things are wonderful! I have dp. Reason 4, albino, live and powrcore virus running. Granted I not making platnum records on it. But as a family machine to throw an idea around, or play back projects, While the rest of family goes to town, is worth every $.
Macbook pro, 3 gigs of ram, osx 10.62, Dp 5.13, Live 8.1.2, Reason 4, Tc powercore Virus, Albino 3.02, proper ergonomic sitting posture, plenty of coffee (french press only with a pinch of cardamon added)
My dp inspired music.....

So glad to hear this report. I would love to get a mac mini to play around with.

Congrats on the new machine...
