i was recording drums today when the computer said my audio device had been disconnected. i hadnt touched the motu or the firewire cable. the motu was plugged into my monster power conditioner and it didnt sohw any problems. it turned off and i havent been able to turn it back on. i tried flipping the 115-230v switch, and i tried plugging it into different outlets on the motu.
WHAT DO I DO
my motu 896HD turned off and it wont turn back on!!!

That happened to me. It was pretty new from sweetwater. I bought another so they could ship it to me ASAP, and they gave me credit for the returned one. I bet it was just a fuse, but I did not open it to see.
