mach five & ableton live

Post by tom24569 »

I'm trying to figure out how to run mach five as an instrument in Ableton Live.

Step 2 of the instructions on MOTU's site says "Add MachFive, MX4, MOTU Symphonic Instrument, or MOTU Ethno Instrument to a MIDI track."

What does this actually mean? How do I add MachFive to a Live MIDI track?

There are 3 ways that I can remember.

1. Select a MIDI track and then double click Mach 5 in the Live browser.

2. Drag it to a MIDI track.

3. Drag it to the empty space to the right of the tracks to create a new track with a Mach 5 instance.
