Any problems upgrading to DP 5.12 using OSX 10.4.8?

Hi Everyone:

First post here, long time MOTU-MAC reader (occasional contributor).

I am thinking about upgrading to DP 5.12 using OSX 10.4.8 ... are there any concerns that I should have? Do most of the Waves, Wave Arts, PSP Audio plugins work with 5.12? I use RennMaxx Bundle and VinatgeWarmer, MixPack, Power Couple 3.0, Final Plug.

Oh I am using a PowerPC G5 Dual Processor 2.7 GHz.

Thank you to everyone that wrote me on this topic. I am still waiting on the DP 7.12 discs from MOTU, but I must say that DP 7.21 works on my PPC G5, 2.7 Ghz dual processor, 8 GB of RAM old computer as well as DP 5.13 did. I guess I will keep on working in this version and keep the 7.12 discs if they come for safe keeping.

Yikes, Earl!!! June, 28, 2007---- Ouch. How embarrassing. There is some quandary when someone doesn't have an answer to your question vs when no one acknowledges your question at all. It's a big forum, though.

If you're waiting on 7.12 from MOTU, I would be surprised if they didn't send you 7.22 at this point.

Hi Frodo:

I sent this question to the email discussion list and I did get a few responses. That's why I thanked them ... I thought this was linked in some way. I have been on yahoo groups for years and still don't understand how to use them.

MOTU did send me the DP 7.21 discs. I got them Monday, but they were suppose to send me the DP 7.12 discs at the same time at least that's what I thought would happen. Still no discs because they sent them USPS. Anyhow, DP 7.21 works fine so I'm sticking with this one and hoping I get the discs so I can reinstall if I need tech support and they won't support it.

Merry Christmas ... no ouch intended.
