HELP: Event List Insert is greyed out

HELP: Event List Insert is greyed out

I am having trouble with the Insert function of the Event list. Only "Add note" and "mode changes" are available. Everything else is greyed out. I need to insert a patch change and cannot. Any clues?

Check your View Filter. If Program Changes are being filtered from display, you can't insert them in a track.
