Hi There,
I'm recording multi-track drums and am wondering if there's an easy way to select new takes for all the tracks simultaneously without having to click the take selector for each track. Also, I'd like to know how to toggle the record button for multiple tracks simultaneously. I've looked in the manual and haven't found anything that addresses this. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Groups.
Read the section on Groups in the manual. You would essentially open the Groups window, then from its mini-menu open the setting for temporary groups. When you get the dialog box for setting your grouping prefs, be sure to set the appropriate take and record enable buttons.
Then, when you wish to have new takes on certain tracks, select those tracks and use the T key (just hold it down) while you select "New Take" on any of the tracks. They will all create a new take. The "W" key will do the same thing for all visible tracks (even if they are scrolled offscreen).
