some time ago you recommended setting chunk chaining to auto stop. I am sorry to say that I can't figure out how to get both to work. Please help.

Chunk Chaining comes in two flavors: Chain Chunks and Cue Chunks. There are two chunk chaining buttons, one apiece. Their behaviors are as follows: Chain Chunks plays to the end of the sequence, then goes to the next sequence (chunk)••š and continues playing. Cue Chunks plays to the end of the current chunk, stops, then cues up the next sequence, where it stands ready for you to hit "Play." In order to get the Chunk Chaining buttons to work precisely where you want them to, every time, you have to set an endpoint to your sequence. Set up your endpoint in the Chunks Window mini-menu. Select the sequence, then choose the menu item that says "auto/manual end time." Type in the coordinates in the sequence length (bar, beat, subdivision, ie: 265/01/240) It will be bold-faced. Now, when you set the Chunk Chaining button for auto-stop, it will work at the time you set it for.

It will otherwise default to whatever time it shows in the endtime of the chunk.

You can also make it happen once by setting the time in "Auto Stop." At that time, the chunk will either pass through to the next sequence, or it will cue up the next sequence, according to which button you set.

Hope that works for you...
