saving a standard MIDI file in 5.11
Yesterday was the first time I had to do a standard MIDI file from DP 5.11, opening in protools 7.1. After repeating it five times and every time a messed up MIDI session, at the end I opened the DP 5.11 session in version 5.01 and then saving a standard MIDI file and all was fine. Anyone else had the same experience?

While I haven't had to open SMFs from DP 5.11 in PT, I have had to use SMFs from DP in other apps. It seems to be working better than before.
But we know that Digidesign and MOTU haven't exactly been in bed together.
I'd be curious to know if SMFs in PT open without incident in DP. That way you can at least nail down the possible sources of the problem.

I'm not sure SysEx is working in 5.11. It just prevented me from entering the following SysEx command:''
F0 B1 7A 31 32 32 F7
Would not accept it until I changed the B1 to 1B. Shouldn't have to do that.

Yes, I've heard a few complaints about SysEx in DP 5.Shooshie wrote:I'm not sure SysEx is working in 5.11. It just prevented me from entering the following SysEx command:''
