Ahh, everythings messed up

This is an interesting situation. Let me first begin by telling you that I have purchased MOTU symphonic, dp 5.1, and an 896 HD. I purchased the dp 5.1 and the 896HD at the same time, however the 896 HD was not available. So i took home dp and ordered the 896 HD. The dp i bought was the crossgrade edition because I knew that audio desk would come with the 896 HD. Now the 896 HD has arrived and i am having trouble installing audiodesk. When it asks for the key, i type in the key i see on the inside of the front cover and the ok button doesnt unlock. Any help would be appreciated. Is there a se[erate disk for audiodesk?

... I think the key code is on the inside of the back cover. The one on the front is the serial number.

According to MOTU, you have to choose between DP and AD. The same key code # works for either, but you can't install both without a second license. At least that's what MOTU told me by phone...

Not sure if that's what you mean, but Bowman is right: don't confuse the serial # and the key code.
