hi, i was at the mac store and the salesman said a 7200 rpm internal will make too much heat. is it because they only sell 5400 rpm and want me to get me one of theirs? (and is only 40 gig more.) i plan on using a chillhub anyways...
also i hear people saying that if the internal gets too big, like 100-160 gigs it actually slows down because of searching for data over a larger area... is this true and something noticible?
any advice would be appreciated,
thanks again, jeff

If I'm not mistaking, I think Giles has a 7200 in his macbook and he seems pretty happy. Try to contact him
