Wayoff topic -- can someone who has Logic UB do me a favor?

Post by emulatorloo »

I use logic as well as DP, and the intel mac bug has started biting me. However, I want to transition in stages, and it would be so nice if I could use some of my "xtra" audio/MIDI hardware.

after doing a big google search I have read suggestions that Logic Pro 7.2 installs universal binary drivers/kext files for Emagic MIDI interfaces and the A26/EMI USB audio devices. But nobody ever really confirms it -- along the lines of "I have heard, etc etc"

Frankly, it would not surprise me that emagic would continue to support thier hardware. And it would not surprise me that Apple would keep quiet about it in their official info sources about logic.

Can sombody w Logic Pro on an intel mac confirm this for me?

Yes I should ask in a logic group. But frankly those groups scare me!

Thanks --

Thanks for the info Lennie - I really appreciate it. Off to order the 7.2 upgrade.
