DP 4.61 - What is recommended version of OSX?

I currently run OSX 10.4.3 with DP 4.61 in a Quicksilver Dual 1GHz machine. I noticed that OSX is now up to 10.4.7 Should I upgrade, or stick with the current 10.4.3? I do have occasional problems (kernel panic last night while it was idling ...)
I tried to find this information at the motu site, but struck out. Maybe someone here has good advice.
thanks,
Trond

most every kernel panic I have ever had was hardware related, not software (but I guess that can happen too).
Once a stick of ram that had gone bad.
Another time a bad IDE cable to my system drive.
Another time the cache went bad on one of my processors.
Just a heads up.

A good FAQ on kernel panics.

ON EDIT - I have run DP on 10.4.6 w no problems. Have not bothered to update to 10.4.7

Thanks for the heads up. I went to the website you provided the URL for, and can only hope I don't have to start following their procedures.
Still, back to the original question, what is the highest version of OSX that people are successfully using with DP 4.61?

Thanks guys. Based on your experience, I did the combo update to 10.4.7 last night, and so far, all is well.
