I currently run OSX 10.4.3 with DP 4.61 in a Quicksilver Dual 1GHz machine. I noticed that OSX is now up to 10.4.7 Should I upgrade, or stick with the current 10.4.3? I do have occasional problems (kernel panic last night while it was idling ...)
I tried to find this information at the motu site, but struck out. Maybe someone here has good advice.
thanks,
Trond

most every kernel panic I have ever had was hardware related, not software (but I guess that can happen too).trond wrote:I do have occasional problems (kernel panic last night while it was idling ...)
Once a stick of ram that had gone bad.
Another time a bad IDE cable to my system drive.
Another time the cache went bad on one of my processors.
Just a heads up.
