CPU spikes while recording at 24/88.2
Hi, I'm getting bad cpu spikes at 88.2, mostly on playback. If I initiate a couple of plugins, it really freaks. I'm running 4.61 on a dual 2g G5, with 2.5g of ram, and a 300g 7200rpm dedicated audio drive. Buffer at 1024. Does anyone know what a good setting for the disk read/write size is under studio settings, or would that even make a difference? Kinda sucks that I have a Motu HD192 interface, and can't even use it at 88.2! Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks!
