Record enable no sound

Post by dosuna11 »

I crashed and had to trash my prefs. Now when I want to monitor a Record enabled track I get no sound. When I disengage the record button I hear the already recorded track. I went to the studio set up monitoring but that did not seem to help. DP 4.6 828mk2 imac G5. I know it is something silly. Please tell me where to look. I can't find it in the manual. PG#?

It sounds like some very basic bus settings need a peek.

What are you recording?

--- VI's to audio?
--- Acoustic instruments or vocals via external mic?

Are you bouncing to disk?

Sounds from your post like you probably already checked this, but "Audio Patch-Through" enabled? Or if going the zero-latency route, CueMix channel unmuted?

All the best!
