outputs on multi-effects pedal line level??

another newbie q.

I have a small digitech multi-effects board that has amp/cabinet simulation. the output of the unit is balanced (according to the manual). does that mean that the signal on the output is line level that i can run into the line inputs on my traveller?? ... or do i still need to run it into a DI box or the Hi-Z inputs??
