Hi,
I use the Split Note feature all the time to extract MIDI parts for string arrangements. It worked perfectly in DP 4.61 and now in DP5 when I go to Split Notes (using cut) it will copy the notes instead of cut them to a new track but not delete the notes in the track I am cutting from. Make sense?
It is as if cut does not work and copy is working in it's place.
I am using cut, paste to track options.
Any suggestions?

I assume you tried the opposite? That is, "Copy" instead of "Cut?" Maybe they just reversed them accidentally. Otherwise, I suggest you use the Search feature. You can search by any of a large number of parameters, using "and" or "or" and using many criteria at once. You can search by attribute, or by rhythm or range. You can have it select the results, cut them, delete them, and so forth. Save your search, and you can use it again and again just be recalling it. After the first time, it's even faster than using Split Notes.
