Copy, paste and streech???

Copy, paste and streech???

Hi everybody,
I have a guitar track, I clip some part, I copy, I paste and when I streech one of then, the other reacts the same way too. What Im doing wrong???
G5 Dual 2.7 Mhz, 2.5 GB ram, Tiger, DP 4.61. MOTU 24I/O. Soundtracs Solitaire mixer.
Blue Sky System One monitors.

You need to duplicate it first before editing it.

Select Edge Edit Copy, in the Sequence Edit mini menu.

If you hold down the option key while stretching or edit pulling, it'll only affect the instance you're working on.
