There are problems with the release. Users are reporting kernel panics and plug-ins not working.

I downloaded 2, installed, had a kernel panic in DP, restarted, then seemed ok in DP. Should be easy enough to roll back to 1.9.6. But I was toying with the idea of a full system reinstall anyway. . .maybe this is the MIDI gods telling me that now is the time to reformat and do that "Tracking The Big Cats" OS X DAW optimization thing.
