So, you're wanting to install your Pro-Tools (TDM) Waves Platinum plugins on DP (MAS)? Only Waves can make that happen. You'll need to contact Waves and see if they'll do a cross-grade. Could be that buying into their WUP plan might enable that to happen, but I really don't know. Good luck with it. Waves generally has the same answer for all questions: "Send more money." So, when it comes to Waves and money, prepare to part with yours. I hope that's not the case for "downgrading" from TDM to MAS. (down, as in going from the more expensive set to the less expensive set, not a quality judgment)

sorry, I was misleading i think. i do not have the TDM plugs...I have the the Renaissance Waves, the L1, Maxx Bass, etc....RTA's. I just wanted to know if I could use them on my DP install.
not in much of a position to part with any more loot right now...but I wouldnt discount it since I love those plugs dearly...

This should be no problem assuming you have everything squared away with waves. Simply go to their website, download the latest installer, and run it. The native waves plug-ins give you authorization to use them as RTAS, AU, VST, and MAS so you shouldn't need to purchase anything, but may simply need to run the installer again to make sure you have the MAS and AU versions installed.

not true... you do not need ilok to use waves, although you can use one if you want.
