1394 PCI Cards with MOTU Hardware

I just got the Ultralite. (It's pretty dope actually)

The only drag is that my Via 1394 controller can't handle running audio through the MOTU and off my firewire drive. The solution I'm considering is getting a bigger, stronger, more compatable FW Card.

Anyone have any suggestions?

On another forum, someone told me that the Adaptec 4300 is the recommended card by pro audio companies.... I'm looking for some evidence to support that before I go out and spend some money.
