Default Patch in DP not changing patches

Default Patch in DP not changing patches

I've set my patch names in the Default Patch column, but my devices are not changing. I am using a MOTU micro express and my synths are:
MOTIF ES7
MOTIF Rack
Yamaha CS6x
MOTU MachFive (coming tomorrow!)

I've connected my ES7 via USB, but not really sure if it's set up correctly in Audio/MIDI Setup. It's sending and receiving data, so it might be okay, but none of the instruments are receiving the patch change information.

HELP!!!
