urgent help needed
as many know, i just recently bought alot of equipment two of them which were MKIII and an Octopre. i was pretty sure i would be able to connect a mic to the octopre then use a d-sub 25 pin cable to a bank in the mk3 and have the eight individual inputs of the octopre right into mk3 and DP. since i dont have d at the moment i have been trying to use cuemix but apparently i get nothing. id like to know if this can be done (some have said i can) with out the use of the ADAT card and connect it optical. id like to use the TDIF inputs in motu's mk3.thanks

WOW very detailed...Not to be smart, but slow down....
the D-sub out of the octopre is Analog, not digital.....
Tdif = tascam DIGITAL interface
So yes you need the ADAT card.
