XLR's on HD192.

are the XLR's on my hd192 wired to european or US convention?
European is : 1=screen(ground) , 2=hot(+) , 3=cold(-)

Same "standard" as in Canada and I'm 99% sure it's like that in the States. There was a period when pin 3 was hot. I have a Soundcraft 8000 from the late 80's that is pin 3 hot.

I didnt realize Erope had a diff standard, All the gear I have purchased since the late 80's was Pin 2 Hot..BTW Soundcraft is a British COmpany...With pin 3 hot back in the day eh??? ;)

a little confused now :wink:
I've been told that :
european/UK is: 1=screen 2=hot 3=cold
US is: 1=screen 2=cold 3=hot

edit: I cant find anything about XLR "standard" in MOTU manual or on HD192.
pc and mac ,logic and cubase, powercore pci and UAD. HD192 on both platforms, no problems. :-)
