MachFive sample library advice pls!

Post by bhagert »

I would like to buy a sample library type general MIDI or Proteus 1 but with more up to date and more expressive sounds. I find that the GM mini library is useful in the M5 library but I would like a more extensive one.

Can anyone suggest a library?

Thanks!

Take a look at PlugSound. http://www.ultimatesoundbank.com/usb/exec/plugsound

Volume 6 Global Collection is really the full version of the GM soundbank in Mach 5.

PlugSound Box is really a nice package that is on my wish list.

Listen to the Audio Demos of each volume. That should give a sense how expressive they are.

Also check out the Motu Symphonic Instruements. http://www.motu.com/products/software/msi/

Thanks!

I ordered the Plugsound box. A little bread and butter and sounded and looked exactly what I wanted.

I use GPO for symphony.
