And damned if I can find a changelog for 3.1.1. There's no link in the info window in UVI Portal except to the manual.
Looks like (at least for me) UVI Portal is still wonky and it downloads the Falcon dmg and tells you it has installed it but it hasn't. You have to go into Downloads folder and open the dmg file and then launch the pkg.
Seems to be fixed. The portal launched the dmg, and I was prompted to do all the usual responses to an installer. Finder reports that I have 3.1.1.

Fixes a crash when searching for File Content with RegEx.
Keeps working if Clean My Mac 5 removes unused language files.

The Open With command lists now the same default app as Finder does.
The Open command in the Results window now shows the app that'll open the selected file.
Closing a Find window that was opened from a .faf file won't ask to save any changes any more unless you set the hidden preference "Closing Find windows with unsaved changes asks to save" to YES.

Steinberg updates including bug fix for Spectral Layers 11
Steinberg Download Assistant will self-update today when you run it.
SpectraLayers 11.0.40
October 28, 2024. We’re happy to announce the availability of the SpectraLayers 11.0.40 maintenance update. This new version introduces many issue resolutions and improvements throughout the application. This is also the first version of SpectraLayers that supports the AAX format and can be loaded as an ARA plug-in in Pro Tools.
Improvements and New Features
• SpectraLayers 11.0.40 can now be used in ARA mode in Pro Tools (version 2024.10 required).
• Additional bitrate options are available for exporting multichannel projects.
• More customizable mouse shortcuts have been added.
• The size of the Module Presets selector has been increased.
Stability and Performance
• SpectraLayers now performs accurate delay compensation when loaded as an ARA extension in Cubase and Studio One.
• When using the Playback tool with a limited frequency range, the playhead now properly mirrors what is being played.
• Using the DeClick module no longer creates audio artifacts at the beginning of a selection.
• Rendering or removing SpectraLayers as an ARA extension and then undoing it now works as expected.

Sonoma 14.7.1 update available
Looks mostly like security fixes, etc. Can't imagine it's too risky. I'm on 14.7, so I'm going to go for it.

Just launched SSL Download Manager, and X-EQ 2 and FlexVerb have been updated. FlexVerb to 6.8.9 and X-EQ 2 to 6.7.2. I clicked the "i" but no update notes available. Other SSL plugs that I don't own may be updated as well.
Note to whom it may concern:
If you like to keep the installers, the individual downloads on the site haven't been updated yet:
I've been waiting several days. In the past I've emailed support and informed them but I'm not playing that game anymore; it's not my job to tell them how to do their job.
Just a heads-up that the latest X-EQ 2 and FlexVerb installers have finally made it to the download page.

Any feedback on macOS 14.7.1 ?
Launch Auto-Tune Central and it walks you through it. Was pretty painless. You have to link your iLok account and yes, you will be prompted by the iLok server to verify with your password, but it is not risky... not retained by Antares AFAIK. I did it and now have my licenses for AVOX DUO and AVOX CHOIR on my iLok dongle which is my preference.
In fact, just hit 500 licenses on my iLok dongle!
Cool thing is apparently Antares old copy protection involved CodeMeter which as I recall from Mike Halloran's posts is some sketchy stuff?

Here's a video about it. I had no issues though just following along with the Updater...
