UPDATE: Just launched this. Most striking thing is they seem to have really cleaned up the UI and preset browsing. I really like the look of the updated version. Funny how a UI improvement will make me more inclined to actually USE a piece of software. I may start reaching for this sometimes instead of SD3 which has been my go to. (Right click image below and choose to open in new tab to see full size. This as at 100% but I may bump it to 125%. Also has option for Open GL hardware acceleration, but not sure if I need or even should use that?)

Also I just noticed the gathering of usage information box is checked by default. May want to turn that off.

SSL Updates

Just launched SSL Download Manager, and X-EQ 2 and FlexVerb have been updated. FlexVerb to 6.8.9 and X-EQ 2 to 6.7.2. I clicked the "i" but no update notes available. Other SSL plugs that I don't own may be updated as well.

Thanks. Yeah. I don’t own those so couldn’t see. I’m still having a terrible time with the Softube updater. Practically every other time I run it it gets stuck and I have to delete and reinstall the helper. Don’t know why, but it’s the most problematic updater app on my Mac by far.

UVI Falcon updated to 3.1.1

And damned if I can find a changelog for 3.1.1. There's no link in the info window in UVI Portal except to the manual.

UPDATE: "Release notes" link appeared today. Here's what has changed:

Looks like (at least for me) UVI Portal is still wonky and it downloads the Falcon dmg and tells you it has installed it but it hasn't. You have to go into Downloads folder and open the dmg file and then launch the pkg.
