Thanks. Now you bring it up, I recall I was not able to control DP from Mixbus. So I just did it the other way around, assuming I'd done something wrong in Mixbus.

Hoping that it’s not too late, here is my contribution to the suggestions list for the upcoming DP-X update:

• 1. Add new takes while recording MIDI in cycle mode as is the case with audio.
  2. Metering options! Having only PPM metering is reminiscent of a semi-pro DAW of the past and not of a top level pro app like DP. I believe that RMS, VU, various K-scales (K12, K14 and K-20) as well as PPM scales (BBC, EBU, DIN) should be implemented in the next update.
  3. The ability to insert a plugin or add a bus send in more than one tracks simultaneously.
  4. Colored mixer channel strips.
  5. Tab (or other shortcut) to transients.
  6. Zoom toggle to fill the entire screen with the current selection (a la pro tools).
  7. Improvements in the Hardware Insert plugin and in particular in the names of the send and return fields which currently don’t follow the bundles’ names. Also, preset saving isn’t working so when I load a saved preset even though the saved names are shown in the send/return fields, nothing is actually routed and I have to manually re-select them.

+ 1 for coloured mixer channel strips !
