I believe you can do this already!?

I don't know what to say. It works fine here.

Ability to select tracks on the mixer tab and once selected have the option, in the dropdown, to group selected tracks.

Larger fonts please. At least the option for this. With so many windows open, tracks, mixer, plug ins, lyrics, quickscribe I need the high resolution to get as much as possible on my two 24 inch monitors. The fonts are just too small, especially at top of the tracks window. It seems there is plenty of room around the fonts to have them be larger and more readable. This would help my work flow more than anything I can think of.

The pan knob is really only useful for mono audio.

This is true but for offsets it's handy. Would like to see more pan effect from 0 to>90 and 0>270. The pan values are a bit strange and difficult to use.

+10! on the trim Shooshie with a pre fader and pre-post effects switch.

although I still really like ProTools for this..... it has 2 panners for a stereo track..... they even become 2 pucks when mixing in surround.... in DP you have to jump through hoops to position the two sides of a stereo channel at independent points in 5.1

Cheers

Dear God yes! This is ONE thing that Sonar incorporated into their workflow from 1.0 that I love, a perminant, and un-automatable gain/trim control. I think it's great to have one volume control that you can't/don't automate, that way being able to set relative levels for the entire track. As for balance vs. pan? That's nice too, but probably less of a major workflow concern. However, the ability to switch the balance control to pan would be very nice! I think it would be great to be able to select from a variety of pan interfaces, including double pan control, an interpolated pan control (one value that pans both channels relative to each other), pan/width, etc. Add this to my checklist of ever-growing "Track Properties Window" wishes.
