YES!!

Another possible clue from that recent thread is that it doesn't happen with MAS, but happens with AU, etc. Before, MOTU claimed this problem was the fault of 3rd party VI developers/code. Perhaps that pointed them in the right direction.

This was a long slog. The big challenge was just getting MOTU to "face" the issue. Seems like that was the key to getting it wrapped up.

Odd. I updated and launched. DP went immediately to the window showing previously saved project, and when I clicked on it, read that. Whole thing, may as much as 2 second. No scanning of plugins.

As soon as I did something, DP crashed. That was not a surprise. DP usually crashes the first time I launch an update, and then never again. Quit and restarted and it went through the plugin scan, and didn’t crash.

So far, as mentioned in another post, tempo mapping seems to be MIA in this update.

I just noticed a new bug with v11.32. In the QuickScribe window, when I try to drag a large selection of notes up or down, a few notes will ignore the move. And when I try to move them individually, they are stuck and won't respond to vertical drags. They will drag in the MIDI edit window.

[Update: TechLink submitted with example project.]

This version still crashes periodically when I click on a marker in the conductor track.

Looking like all the MIDI plugins (groove quantize, humanize etc) are still broken as reported before since v11.3. :( Meaning the preview buttons dont work. Can anyone else please confirm.

Otherwise SNAPPY!

Bummer. That’s been getting me too. Sometimes even changing the marker name on the marker list.

And fixed in just a few weeks from when the " certain tempos" aspect was reported!

...sadly, embarrassingly I noticed that DP didn't exhibit the consecutive note bug on certain sequences long ago. Years ago I think. But I didn't think to investigate why until the MN thread mentioned it last month. Better late than never I guess.

Absolutely ridiculous that such a cool feature like MIDI preview broke. I think MOTU has a lot of their problems due to "caching" in advance to save memory. They still haven't figured out how to make DP like its old self again since they started pre caching. Same goes for mix automation, it's a mess, basically choking the system. mix automation hasn't been right since DP 8. sigh....The saga continues.

Thinking along these line, has anyone tried turning pre-rendering off (Live Mode) to see if it impacts MIDI Plugin Preview?

Matt at Motu has confirmed that the previews are broken on MIDI plugs in 11.32. (and 11.31)

I'm not sure I'm understanding the issue, but with Preview boxes checked in Humanize, Quantize etc. I'm hearing a preview of what Apply will do to the selected MIDI data here. Works with and without Live mode enabled. ...haven't tested all the MIDI Region tools however. Maybe some are working while others are not?
