Has this been fixed as of v11.21?

This was fixed in 11.2, but try before you buy!

Hi,

Just got a Seaboard.
It seems to me MPE is broken in 11.31 .

All notes are recorded with timing @ 0.
Common CC (like the ModX MoxY and macros) do not transmit to Equator 2.

This is way above MY paygrade! Best make a support ticket with MOTU. I'm a simpleton. I was getting along just fine with MIDI 1.0.

:D Let's go back to piano rolls.

Ok tried again with wire connection instead of blue tooth. At least notes are recorded with the correct time stamps.

But global CCs are not working. I'm going to fill a bug report.

I have to ask the basic question, do you have the Roli Seaboard software app running? Roli Seaboards, Block and Rise are configurable not on the boards themselves but in the software app. It's possible that's half the issue.

Yes, seaboard and DP are configured as MPE. (Though is I connect it with the wire connection, the seaboard sometimes behaves as a mono MIDI and I have to use ROLI configuration to force it again to MPE)

So when recording with bluetooth, the events appear in the past.
I tried to submit a ticket but the form doesn't seem to work for me, will try again later.

So this is issue 1 :)

Issue 2 is that the controllers of the Master channel (transmitted on channel 1) are not recorded, if I create those CC on the track with edit tools, they are correctly transmitted and recognised by equator 2.

That's on Roli, I don't have that problem, I have a Seaboard Block and connect it via USB C. It keeps whatever configuration I choose in Roli connect.

That, is a computer issue, Bluetooth transmission speed is not controllable by DP, DP should be 100% unaware of whether you're using the bluetooth MIDI or not. Unless you can confirm that it's only happening with DP, it's on you to figure out why this is happening. DP uses Mac OS's Audio MIDI setup directly, in fact you can change it while DP is running and it updaters in DP.

Could be a driver issue in MacOS. But Bluetooth delays should not result in 10 seconds or more delay.

Recording over bluetooth works perfectly in Live. Thanks for the idea to check another DAW.

Hi, a quick follow up.

Both issues (bluetooth time stamps) and global CCs with MPE has been reproduced by MOTU.

Nice reaction time!

I've had good luck with MOTU Tech Support, too. With the last update, they fixed a couple of bugs I had reported.
