Shooshie, once you described setting up spaces in Mission Control like "dealing out cards", everything clicked and I've done it without fail since. I was starting to get like MLC and avoid setting it up because it was a slight hassle, but since updating to ML and hearing your analogy, I've just never gone back, thanks! It's little analogies like that that really make the difference.

My reasoning for using one monitor is similar, limited space. I also find my DP workflow to be a "3 monitor workflow", and having only two monitors, I found actually to be worse than 1 monitor with 3 spaces. Also, the second output on my video card broke after a few weeks of use, but when I went back, I realized I wasn't sorry. Now I've pretty much switched to editing completely on my MacBook because it's more powerful, so I really don't have a choice. But with Spaces, having one screen doesn't matter!

Dang! That's good to know. Thanks for the feedback. I'll try to remember to use that analogy from now on.

And one of these days, when you least expect it, and when nobody believes I even know how to make a movie, I really am going to make a movie of me doing that very action to show how easy and fast it is to set up windows in Spaces.

Really. I mean it. Hey, no snickering. I'm gonna do it. Honest. I think. Maybe.

:sorry:
