It enables the use of 32 bit plugins while you are running DP in 64 bits, thus enabling DP users to move on and keep up with the times, even though some of their plugin developers are dragging their heels. I don't have it (I'm all 64 bit), but those who use JBridge say that it's very well thought-out.Timeline wrote:Bump!rodger1811 wrote:Wow..... You're a real a**!!! There's NO emergency for 64 Bit! What is the deal with J-bridge? How does it make things better?
I remember thinking at the time: "This is it! The future has arrived! I now have my dream studio in my grasp!" I believe said studio consisted of as Tascam 244, Korg PolySix, Monopoly, DDD-1, SDD 1000, and Kawaii K4r...Gravity Jim wrote:Man, seeing the TOS desktop again freaks me right out! How did I get so OLD?
I second that. JBridge was the same halleluja moment for mekgdrum wrote:Timeline-
I got jbridge and thought I'd have to hunt down VST's for 20 or 30 plugs besides my UAD plugs, thinking it would be a hassle and screw up my system.
WOW!! I was wrong!! This is a great app!! And the developer is really nice, answers emails if you have any questions etc.....
Jbridge is really the best $13 NoBrainer I've purchased in a really long time!
I approached the purchase of jbridge with much trepidation, initially thinking well it's only $13 and if I can get a few VSTs working and add a few here and there it will be OK but I'm blown away how well jbridge is working and how easy the process was for me.
I really don't care now if UAD or most of my other plugs go 64bit! lol
Good Luck

They just don't make 'em like that anymore. Dr. T's on an Atari (or was it Commodore?) THAT is a first-rate setup. These new DAWs just can't compete with the real thing. And on wooden disks, no less.
