You're right! I took the nudge up and down arrows away in the "More Edit" Commands list, and now the up and down arrows work in the record enable column again.... The ability to nudge MIDI notes up and down is cool, but I use the rec enable much more often, so I'll stick with this arrangement for now.

Thanks for the workaround.

OMG! I should start wearing Depends undergarments now when reading this forum. Do they make Depends in an asbestos version? LOL!

Ya' know, with DP being able to phone home, maybe it'll snag a few of the scum bag pirates! If it could report 'em back to us, we could make 'em walk the plank. (Yeah, I'm talkin' to YOU scum bag pirate - ARRRRRR!) LOL!

Too bad that technology doesn't work for music ... yet!

When clicking the new play enable button on a track folder it turns off all tracks in that folder, which if fine, but when clicking there to turn them back on they ALL come on, even tracks that were muted originally. Why would that be the preferred MO?

That's too bad. If there's not already a preference or setting to change that behavior, MOTU will probably add it to the next release if we let them know about it.

Unfortunately DP7 isn't showing up in my downloads - does anyone have a link for now? I will email MOTU once I get on my music computer that has my DP2.7 serial number...

It appears that the MOTU site is at capacity currently. If I can get into my account, I'll post the downloads link, but you'll have to log into your account to get there.

I just found a workaround - search for DP 7.1 on good ole google, and it gives a link to get to the update at MOTU.com.

Thanks though!

FWIW, I put the update thru a few paces and LOVE it.

I'd like to be able to change the tabs that are at the top of the consolidated window at some future date, but the new features are awesome! LOVE the tuning feature. I have long had a problem with some outboard MIDI modules that are a bit off and now I can tune them very precisely with this.

What's meant by "Automatic addition of inserts"?
Any chance it somehow refers to a true D/A-A/D insert?

If all insert spaces are taken, new inserts are added to the insert list. IOW, if you have 5 inserts and add another, 6 inserts will be in the tracks. Also, when you click on an insert, all current inserts will be listed along with their location (Insert A = Reverb; Insert B = Chorus, etc.)
In the Mixing Board, another row of empty inserts will be
added automatically when the bottommost insert in any
track is filled. Inserts will be added one row at a time, until
the maximum is reached (20 inserts).

If you load an effects clipping or Insert Settings preset (see
below) and there are more inserts in the clipping than are
currently displayed in the Mixing Board, additional inserts
will be added automatically to accommodate it.
