On the other hand knowing two different music production software is better than one. You will get broader horizon on using both. Running a CPU-hungry VI inside DP will drain your PC resources fast (my limit was 17 different VI's at the maximum buffer setting). So far my most efficient setup has been to sequence in DP with external VIs like Vienna Instruments and Reason. Of course you will have to switch a lot when you set it up, but once you have a template things will go fast. I wish I had a second monitor though...

These are all good suggestions!
I'm still figuring DP6 out, so perhaps I'll hold off until I become a little more fluent.
It seems compelling to just drop different drum fonts into the drum editor and sequence them right in DP -- easier on the computer and on the brain!

Well, PC stands for a Personal Computer but in my case it would be more accurate to write PPC.
