Stravinsky used odd time signatures a lot too :D

When I played alternating time signatures (such as 4/4-5/4) in a big band I played trumpet in, each bar was subdivided with an additional dotted bar line. Some of Don Ellis' charts were like that too. (I attended his jazz clinic in summer '72.)
