Weird, because MOTU sells that upgrade for $295.00 US. Maybe you are using a different currency and I missed that.PlasticMoonRain wrote: Went to the expense of getting the PCIe card upgrade ($800)

You're right. I confused my PCIe upgrades, which cost me a fortune transferring from a G5 to a Mac Pro.emulatorloo wrote:Weird, because MOTU sells that upgrade for $295.00 US. I've owned my MOTU 24 io for about two months now. I'm glad to post and to say that I've not had a single problem with it (other than not having a rack yet). I have it hooked up to my G5 through Logic Studio. It works like a champ and sounds great, even if it is through my Peavey's questionable preamps (to be upgraded soon). It has even survived one terrifying circuit breaker pop that killed the whole system without warning. I'm thrilled with it. Just thought I'd throw that in for your benefit, James.James Steele wrote: Well, it's unfortunate that people view this as a place to only come to or post when they have a problem, but it illustrates what some of the users tell others on this board: sometimes you get the impression things don't work well because only the people having problems post.
