how many webinars took place?
Well over 100. about 20 were just composers chatting about the good old days, cool but not DP related generally enough for me. : )
Yeah they're way behind, the 5 are well over 7 hours worth of content though. They just took a solid break of a week or so, they need to start them up again, and go over the new features. Glenn a regular is convinced DP's way of doing articulations doens't result in the sometimes miss that happens with other DAWs and articulation mapping etc. I want to test that but I'm far away from my Mac Pro with all my orchestral libraries.

Good to know, I would also not be interested in good old days conversations..that would be a perfectly valid reason to not bother publishing them if they were overly casual in nature that way...
Anyway, I was just curious.. I have been learning DP11 quickly enough on my own...

what do you mean by this?

Sometimes with articulation mapping in Logic I noticed that some libraries would not switch on time, like the articulation event and note would happen at the same time and who knows who wins? This of course would happen with simply adding in the keyswitches, and you get used to dragging them sightly early etc.
Glenn thought he didn't notice any of that, I'm not at home so all I have is a few libraries, I'm hoping he's not being overly optimistic. You'll probably find that out before I do.

I have not had any such problems with LogicPro. Perhaps you can be more specific about exactly what you were doing at the time it occurred. CC switches can have issues with Kontakt, and that will be the case with DP too most likely. That is due to a design flaw in Kontakt.
its better if the keyswitches are not dragged early, but are on the same timestamp as the notes they are switching!. MIDI notes are sent to plugins in a serial fashion, so the order matters, as long as the keyswitches are first...then will be respected by the the instrument the same as if it were earlier. Normally an articulation management system such as Logic"s articulation sets or DP's articulation Map will make sure that happens. My experience with both of them so far is that they do.
Cubase has a few more issues actually, mainly with DIRECTION style...because the articulation's are not attached directly to the notes, so some people have to drag the articulations a little early. it also has problems if you have two different articulations assigned to two notes of a chord on the same timestamp.... LogicPro does not have that problem and neither does DP\ (except for CC switches)
I don't think we will have any such problems with DP...and I have not had any problem like that with LogicPro either. However, it could depend on exactly what you are trying to do perhaps with some library that works in a tricky fashion, in which case its possible you could have a similar issue with DP's articulation maps.
CC's also have timing problems when used with VST3 plugins for a similar design flaw reason in the VST3 api.
