MOTU DP 10 Webinars

Post by jb »

Hi,

Maybe some of you have seen the invites from MOTU to sign up to free DP 10 webinars
for registered users, you can join them with the Zoom app. all the instructions are in the emails.

I joined one today and I highly recommend it, it was a wealth of cool shortcuts and great features
(for ex. the use of temporary groups was demonstrated in length today...) that can be super time savers.

Being a full time DP users I was hip to a few tricks already but I learned so much in about
1h30 min, most of it was the MOTU host demonstrating a few topics and he took questions at the
end.
The Webinar was recorded by MOTU and there's talk they will post it at some point.

There's another one tomorrow at 12:30pm eastern and they continue next week Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

The question was asked this morning by someone, and Matt said it was a distinct possibility.

The MOTU host this morning said they were recording all the webinars and they would
post them at some point, he said he will keep us posted with details.

Absolutely! I've learned quite a bit.

The main focus of this one is the new transport/key pad functions and pitch control.

Although one of them will be edited and posted, the live sessions have Q&A.

Must be a pretty exclusive thing if 30+ years as a customer won't get you in the door.

I hope so! My sleeping brain laughed at me when the alarm I set for this morning's webinar went off. Zzzzz...

My previous post was not clear enough. Why is it such a tiny elite club that is privy to these webinars? Doesn't make for good PR for anyone not in the club.

I think if you email Tech Support or Sales they will send you what you need. Don't know how they determined who received the invitations, but I believe the Zoom room is limited to 1k participants. They only had about 150 for the last one, so there should be plenty of space. I can see where posting a public link would be problematic with all the issues Zoom has been having.

I got the invite so it can't be that exclusive - however in London so always miss the event due to getting muddled with the time. But videos of the sessions would be handy.
